This is where I am with the book layout. We can change photos around if we want. Mostly I would like to add text. Things that you remember from childhood… silly fun memories. Maybe some things that she says often. Favorite quotes… anything that will make the book bring similes to her face (and yours).
I’m not sure where to put it, but I heard she likes to sing “hit the road jack” with the grandkids – maybe on the teen boys playing ladder ball. One picture is brothers Jeremy and Austin. It was rare to have Jeremy – “brothers for the win” caption?
These lyrics to tiny bubbles would be perfect for the pics with the bubble wand.
Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
In the wine (in the wine)
Make me happy (make me happy)
Make me feel fine (make me feel fine).
For pics with the cake some reference to tea party would be great she always loves to do those. Are you going to add little clip art in?
I’ll send more yet this week if they come up with more. Thank you!!
So, mom always liked to hide behind a door or something when I would arrive home from school and jump out to scare me. Sometimes she would just hide mid day just to try to scare me. I think she was trying to give me a complex.
Mom instilled a hard work ethic in me. Summer break from school was hardly a break, up early to work in garden before the heat of the day hit. Mom loved to instigate trouble and always gave my visiting friends a rough way to go, but they loved it. Mom also taught us how to survive. She could make a chicken dish for dinner every night if the week, never the same type dish and never got tired of eating chicken. Mom is the most creative person I know. Mom is the best at common sense and taught me the same. My mom is nothing short of Awesome! Her grandkids were always so excited to “go stay at grandma’s” and her great grand children are the same. Literally whine, fuss and beg to “ go stay at grandma Glora’s.
