Opening Ceremonies – community involvement shows here.  This is a great weekend to celebrate basketball in Hastings!  taking part in the Opening Ceremonies were:  Scott “Gus” McNeal, mayor Dave Tossava, MVP and Official Sponsors, Opening Prayer by Pastor Danny Quanstrom from Hastings Church of the Nazarene, and the National Anthem sung by Scott Taylor frm the Lakewood Area Chorale Society.    

Special Needs Court – this is the second year for this event.  Special needs people enjoy playing basketball too.  They had the whole Dream Court to themselves for an hour to play at their own level. (Dream Court is sponsored by WBCH Radio)
