Engagement Photos

Engagement sessions don't have to be the standard posed portrait of the couple most often seen in the society announcement page in the local newspaper. They can be fun, whimsical and passionate or sentimental and romantic. A stylized engagement session is not only a lot of fun but can give you the chance to explore a variety of concepts, themes and styles. This is a special photo opportunity to in a stress-free environment of your choice without the time constraints and pressure of the wedding day.

Bring your passion and have some fun! With the right props clothing, hair and makeup selections, it's the perfect opportunity to be stars for a day.

If you have chosen not to have the large wedding social event, the engagement session is a perfect way to celebrate your union.

Wedding Photography

Every wedding is a great adventure, which is to say expect the unexpected. That's why I love being a photographer. It takes a lot of intentionality, and often a lot of preparation, to get that great "candid" shot. The photographer must be completely present! We begin the process of photographing a wedding long before we meet at the church. When we first get to know you we learn what is important to you; we discover your visions and dreams and learn about the people closest to you. By the time we arrive at your ceremony location, we know what to look for and how to get in on the action. By being part of the action, we are able to get the images that document one of the most important days of your life.

Through our conversations we will know the importance of the posed, formal photos and the informal photos. We will capture a mixture of both with an emphasis on the ones you are most interested in. Our goal is to capture your wedding in all of its glory, complexity and beauty as you remember it.

After the wedding we take our images and polish them for your album and special prints and guarantee them for life. Our photos are a piece of art featuring you.

Kiss Books

New for 2010! Kiss Books. These books are mostly for weddings but can be used for family reunion albums or any event. Kiss Books are beautiful albums fully custom designed and guaranteed. Albums are available in a variety of sizes and colors. You will be happy with your choice of Kiss Books.

Fine Art Photography

Personalize the art in your home or business to include things and places you are interested in. Rose will listen to your ideas and search and photograph for your selection. Special attention is given to each selection to make it artistic and then frame it for a complete presentation.

Business Portraiture

Rose will bring the "studio" to your office to keep your productivity up and photograph your staff before your business is open or over a lunch time. You will have your finished portraits back in a day or two ready for use on your website, in brochures, or print advertising.

Event Photography Slideshow

We all have events in our lives. There are milestone birthdays and anniversaries that we celebrate. We will photograph them for you and make a book so you can enjoy your party again and again. We also photograph your retirement party, engagement party, children's birthday parties and much more.

Seasonal Photography Slideshow

We offer seasonal specials each year. We photograph children with real bunnies in spring and children with Santa in December.

Benefits Slideshow

The Barry County Animal Control benefit is the first Saturday in November. We photograph you and your pet and a donation is made to feed and care for homeless animals in Barry County. Packages are available for easy gifts.

The Victims Services Unit of Barry County is the first Saturday of December. We photograph at the charity ball and give a donation to the unit to provide help for people in crisis. Our family received help from this group of volunteers when John Hendershot was killed in a tree cutting accident. Their services are invaluable at a time when we needed help.

College and Reunion Groups

Rose and her team will come to your reunion and photograph your gathering. Rose has gone to the 50th class reunions of Battle Creek Central High School, Hastings High School and St. Philip Catholic High School to photograph the dinner, evening mixers, golf outings and breakfast. These precious photos are then laid out in custom designed books for each classmate to purchase to remember their reunion. The books also contain important information about the classmates such as current contact information.

Rose has been photographing the graduating nurse classes at Kellogg Community College for over 6 years. Rose provides the school with a composite of the group and each nurse is able to purchase a package and composite for themselves. Watch here for 2010 KCC nursing photos!
