Mardi Gras came to Hastings!!! This was a great evening of fun, food, prizes and auction all for a great cause. Green Gables Haven was the charity receiving benefit while we had a fun filled evening.

Thornapple Arts Council Auction
The Thornapple Arts Council annual auction was a success! Everyone gave to benefit the arts and cultural events, scholarships and programming in Barry County. The auction was November 10 in the Barry County Enrichment Center. If you haven’t seen the progress they have been making on the building, you need to stop in and take a look around.
The evenings theme was “Picture This”. It was to take a look back, a look at the present and a look forward for Barry County and the arts. The photos of the attendees were so much fun! If you didn’t attend, you missed a great evening!
Barry Community Founadtion
What a great time at the 400 Club celebration. The evening was filled with art, food and fun with a local focus.
Christmas card orders can be placed before 12-1 to have them in plenty of time for sending to your family and friends. Double sided flat cards are 8 for $15, 24 for $35 or 32 for $48. These will be a memorable card and everyone will want one.

The Dirty Dozzen
This is a one mile course with 12 muddy and physically challenging obstacles. It was cold and muddy but many had a great afternoon!
