Christmas in Hastings
Hastings Nativity Scene
To open the Christmas season here is to open up our downtown to an Art Hop, Christmas carolers, the Mayor’s Tree lighting ceremony, the Holly Trolley, and the official lighting of our Nativity Scene. Add a magic show, the store windows decorated, hot chocolate, a sidewalk fire pit and some marshmallows and everyone has a good time.
Our Nativity Scene is quite unique. It was the very first one made by Bronners in Frankenmuth in 1958! It has just been repainted and repaired ready for 2009.
